## Role

Veri is looking for a Senior/Lead Data Scientist to join our team of +35 people. You'll be involved in turning data from thousands of users to insights on product.

Data and the interpretation of it is a lifeline, the red thread, for all the things we do at Veri. You can expect to be working closely with most of the areas in the company.  Some of the responsibilities you will be sharing with the existing data science team and our product lead: 

- Taking ownership of data science products exploration, experimentation, and delivery
- Working closely with product team and health advisors to convert business goals into data science tasks, and products
- Contribute to our data science processes, shaping up our data strategy, and working closely with our larger product team in defining the future of Veri product
- Mentoring team members and growing the data science team

Frontend Mobile Developer

At Veri we help **health-conscious individuals** improve their **metabolic health** by helping them understand what, when, and how to eat. With the **Veri mobile app** talking to a **wearable glucose monitor** we translate complex glycemic responses into simple scores. We help **inform** and **motivate** users to make the best choices possible for their metabolic health.

## Role

As Veri’s Customer Support Team Lead, your main responsibility is to ensure a great customer experience by leading our customer support team. You’ll be in charge of efficient day-to-day support operations, with the right staffing on each shift. You’ll get to improve our support functions and ensure all our staff has the right training and tooling to do their best work every day.

An integral part of the role is expanding the support team, onboarding new staff members and ensuring continuous training for the existing team. You will also work closely with our Head of Customer Success to ensure our reporting and processes are supporting our overall company projects and objectives.

The final piece of the puzzle is ensuring smooth management of our product inventory across global warehouses, stock orders, and supplier relationships. We are looking into outsourcing a lot of this work while building and improving our fulfillment system and supplier network, but in the beginning, this is part of your daily tasks. We will train you for these tasks and don’t expect you to be a master of fulfillment from the start.

- Ensure operational coherence and champion quality support
- Manage quality control through conversation reviews

## Role

Veri is looking for a backend developer to join their product team and take the lead in creating internal digital efficiencies at Veri. You will be in charge of understanding the various integrations and systems that enable smooth day to day operations from shipping & customer success to marketing. 

Main tasks of this role include: 

- Working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. head of growth) to capture their requirements and convert them into technical solutions

## What skills and experience do you need?

- Experience developing code that interacts with APIs using REST principles.
- Experience with SQL (with and without an ORM), including stored procedures and views. Currently, the main database you will be interacting with is PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of design systems, CSS frameworks and component-based web development. Our workflow includes Figma, React, TailwindCSS and NextJS.
- Familiarity with the idea of responsiveness. Knowing something about web accessibility (WCAG 2.1) is a big plus.
- Understanding of HTML5, including semantic tags. Ability to produce the most simple possible markup to achieve the design.
- Understanding of basic data structures and data manipulation with Python.
- Ability to see the big picture when it comes to integrations from different third-party tools.
- Practical version control knowledge (we use Git).
- Experience with Web Performance measurement. For example, Google Lighthouse.
- Basics of Technical SEO (metadata, redirections…), advanced knowledge is a plus!
- Knowledge of A/B testing. Google Optimize is part of our toolbox.
- Ease to interpret wireframes and propose improvements to systems that are already in place.
- Basics of data visualization (we go with Google Data Studio).
